Monday 6th

Assemblies restart, in the Dojo, some shoe removal chuntering, good to be together.

Tuesday 7th
|
Sir looks at Dojo-loading, mental Tetris, no shoe removing required. Even better!

Wednesday 8th
|
Year 10 parents, a pleasure to see them. Working with another, not so simple.

Thursday 9th
|
My A level paper: dull questions. Internal vacancies to fill. Blaydon Races Day!

Friday 10th
|
Balaclava ban and reasserting calm language. Slight improvement with some shops.

Week 35:
Monday 13th
|
Talking about the future with the LA. Academies? As if that’s all that matters.

Tuesday 14th
|
Governors visited by governors from the midlands to talk about ethical leadership
|
Wednesday 15th
|
S.M.I.L.E.I.N.G. boys project finishes. Beautiful pics of y9 boys in Pegler Square.

Thursday 16th
|
Year 7 sports, much cheering, outstanding collaboration in tutor groups.

Friday 17th
|
Primary SEN experts visit us to share thinking. Year 9 sports day.

Monday 20th

Governors visit art, interviews for behaviour support posts. Pastoral meetings.

Tuesday 21st
|
Picking over this year’s exam predictions, talking to a former Deputy now a Head.

Wednesday 22nd
|
Now picking over the staffing structure, then final planning for Tallis 50 festival!

Thursday 23rd
|
Final borough KS4-5 meeting. We’ve worked hard, report with 25 recommendations.

Friday 24th
|
Meet with teachers who run the support base, inspiring thinking for next year.

Monday 27th
|
At Royal Opera House talking on the arts in school, writing our souvenir programme.

Tuesday 28th
|
Anti-racist steering group. Governors’ Inclusion committee, last of the year.

Wednesday 29th
|
One of many Tallis 50 visits to St Alfege, seeking the great man’s last resting place.

|
Philosophy Conference! National academics and a very intense audience of students.
